Ok this may seem really stupid... but i know Microsoft had on there site server 2008 trial as i ran it for abit although looking to test it out alittle more as i didn't get enough time to play with it as i'd like, But looking about the Microsoft site i just seem to hit dead links etc... Am i right in thinking they have removed the 2008 server trial? If not any chance someone can provide me a link? Thanks to any help!

Windows Server 2008 Trial
Works fine for me?
Ye i get that far.... Then clicking on the top link under "Don’t want a guided evaluation experience? – Go straight to trial software download" as i want standard, just seem to end up getting "We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found.
See below for search results close to your request, or try a new search." So can't get to the actually ISO, I've tried IE and FF, thought it could be are LEA doing something odd but even going threw my person proxy seems to do the same? just something going on funny here??

Ah very good, dead link indeed, and even now going through the guided eval it's throwing a 404.
Looks like MS are doing some house cleaning!
I shall track one down.

64Bit version is available from here but I'm not vouching for the validity of the link, it'd be worth md5'ing it before using it.
Will this do?
Sorry should have stated after the 86, And i'm glad its not just me hitting the dead link been trying to get hold of it today driving me mad really trying to test something out on it. Although thanks very much for your help so far!

Depending upon your needs you could play with the 2008 R2 Beta here.
sorry =(

Good not just me that couldn't find a working link either not even with google... !! But ye for now i'll use the R2 as well i know we wont end up buying the licence so only a test for a month or so (mainly to true out sharepoint) kmount Thanks very much for your help with this one!

I found it on a bunch of torrents but that's not the kind of risk I'd be taking on a production network.
Even with the filename searching for mirrors (how I found x64 didn't work!)
YW btw![]()
