Arrrgghhhh. I just removed my Server 2008 install with Hyper-V as it was blue screening when a Hyper-V started.

Ah well... I have gone back to 2003 R2 for now.

I have been very upset with the fact that my 2008 install is covered with "Without Hyper-V" logos and branding everywhere. Why describe an OS by a feature it doesn't have?

    Windows 2008 Server Without ext3

    It's just silly. And I don't *need* hyper V, its a VM.

This is good news. Now I just wish I had the memory in my servers to fully take advantage of virtualising things. I'd need to spend a fortune on memory upgrades! Maybe next year...
