2008 Server remote app & rdp dropping
Hi, we have a 2008 server running terminal services and we are utilising the TS Web Access feature to allow users to connect to Outlook for example. the problem is the connection drops out every few minutes with the error : "the network connection to the remote computer was lost"
This happens from most remote sites, with different client O/S's Vista with SP1 or XP with SP3.
I dont beleive there is an issue with the connection at our office where the 2008 server is, we can RDP into other servers there without the connection dropping fine.
Any assistance would be much apprechiated as the new 2008 Web Access Feature is fantastic and we really want to roll it out to more users. Currently there are only one or two people using it due to this issue.

11th November 2008, 12:40 PM #3 Have you checked out your gateway router as that could be 'cleaning up' the vpn sessions for you causing the drop outs. You may need to reconfigure your firewall to enable longer tcp sessions so that it does not kill off your sessions prematurely.
