Has anyone tried using Intel nics on server 2008 Core and used link aggregation? i was hoping to use 2008 Core and Hyper-V using Core instead of normal 2008 will mean less downtime for the host since less updates and also a lower overhead on the recourses.
at the mo I'm just playing with core in a vm

im playing with 2008 and thinking of buying it on monday.
i want to run 2 VMware machines on it but im not sure about core just yet.
also hyper v wont be out for ages and vmware server isnt keen to work with 2008 server for some time and i wanted to use vmware serves autostart features.
workstation 6.1 does support server 2008 (host and guest) so maybe i can make a script to autostart my vm's if 2008 is restarted.
