Restrict file types uploaded to moodle 1.9
Hi
Is there a way in IIS 7 or moodle 1.9 to restrict the file types that can be uploaded within moodle? (Like on assignments). We want to lock moodle down so students can only upload particular file types to prevent any malicious files being uploaded.
Thanks

9th December 2012, 07:11 PM #2 If you're sticking with 1.9 [#MDL-18713] Moodle 1.9.x assignment enhancement name convention and filetype filtering (upload and uploadsingle) - Moodle Tracker (Patch by Vienna University for same thing)
If it's a different version will need different one ofc
Or again as with the strip chars stuff, you could manually do a test on the "upload" part of the scripts. check if a filetype if not error etc.
