Indexing Service Not Working
I'm trying to get indexing to work, to in turn speed up searches.
I've created the index in Computer Management for an entire drive. This was created several weeks ago and has almost 4 million files in it, so seems to be indexing. The indexing service is definitely running.
When I search the relevant drive in Windows Explorer I get the message "Your searches might be slow because the index is not running. Click to get help..."
Anyone know why this message still appears?
