Disable users from running files or browsing to drives from word using a gpo
We are just tweaking our new server 2008 R2 domain that is going live in the summer.
We are trying to make it tighter than a gnats chuff so are trying to think of anything that our students might try to show us up as incompetent buffoons.
We think we have most stuff locked down now but are having problems with Office. If a user types \\dc1\netlogon they can browse to our netlogon folder, which isn't ideal.
So I wondered how to turn off this feature in word and also if I can stop them being able to browse to the netlogon folder!
Any ideas? :confused:
