The independent school I'm with is a charitable trust and you seriously have my sympathies about going begging for another £250... I know it's hard. Been there and done it :(
Please put together a plan of exactly how long it will take you to build another domain and switch everything over. To your calculations make allowances for doing other parts if your job... And make sure you point out what can't/won't happen until everything is legal. I think you'll exceed £250 pretty quickly even if you're paid minimum wage (I hope you aren't)

I am having a couple of weeks off from my real (paid) job as a tech at the school down the road (Due to the CRB fooling around with getting checks carried out on time) and am have spent the majority of time down here trying to think of solutions to this issue. I think I will get a proposal written up the committee have a meeting next Wednesday I think so I hope its not too late by then.
