Home folders with IE9
Hello all
We have a pretty standard setup with our students home folders organised by year group ie
\\server\2011intake$
In AD we address them by \\server\2011intake$\%username% and everything is fine!
However in IE9 when someone right clicks and save as using the up one level button they can first of all see 2011intake$ (in the save as location)
which I thought by the very nature of the $ should not be in the browse list at that point the can see all the other students in the year group and navigate to it
if they go up another level they say the server name (network discovery turned off on workstation) which is a bit worrying.
In all other application it is fine as they can only get as far as the local computer.
Can anyone help me many thanks in advance !

I have a pretty similar structure of \\server\home$\Year\%username%
on the "year" folder students have no permissions whatsoever, so when attempting to browse up from their folder they're greated with no enough permission messages.
