We have a number of RDS servers. They seem to crash at the same time every week. We then have to reboot the servers and they then hang for 1-2 hours on applying computer settings.
has anyone come across this before?

If they seem to crash at the same time each week, are there any tasks scheduled for around that time?
There is no task at that time. It seems to be one server or the other that crashes.
I'm presuming that there's no errors in the logs/etc.
How 'far' are the servers crashing? Are they refusing additional connections, dropping/locking refresh on current connections? Are they locking local connections as well?
Any of these look promising?
Available Updates for Remote Desktop Services (Terminal Services) on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
They are allowing logons but stay on welcome screen as the server has crashed. No errors in the logs from what I can see.
If I unplug the network lead and then boot the server up it goes to the ctrl+alt+del screen straight away. If I leave the network lead in it sits on the applying computer settings screen for an hour or so.
