    System State Backup

Has anyone had problems with the System State Failing on Windows 2k8 R2 servers running SIMS since a recent upgrade?

Unless I disable the Windows Internal Database service the backup fails (sorry havent got the error msg) which of course stops WSUS

Are you using advanced options to do a VSS full backup rather than a copy backup, it could be tripping up on some transaction logs or something.
