Exporting Printer Properties
I'm in the middle of moving all our printers over from server 2003 to 2008 and I am noticing how over the years the details held by printers has changed. What I want to do is to export all of the details into a spreadsheet so that we can get a record of what printers we have, IP address used and driver versions etc.
We have drivers installed for PCL5\6 but there doesn't seem like a standard yet and nowhere to record if the driver has been updated due to printer problems etc. I have been able to export most things but cant seem to get the IP details for the printers. Is there a way that I can export all details and them stick them in a spreadsheet?
Or am I just making work for myself?
