    Are you sure this isn't just giving all webdav users admin access to all folders?

    I don't know, I'm just playing with this myself, but my cautious mind is thinking that when the alternative is to pass-through the credentials provided by the user (ie their own access rights) that you are giving everyone the access of the user you've used to 'Connect as'?

    Transparent proxy could be an alternative option? This would eliminate the need for the pac file altogether
