    Server Core --> .net framework 4

    anyone help. i'm trying to get some C# apps I wrote to run on server core, there is .net 4 for server core now

    Download: Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Standalone Installer) for Server Core - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

    to rule out any silly dependencies i've even tried a blank c# project and even that won't work

    Code:
    using System;
    using System.Collections.Generic;
    using System.Linq;
    using System.Text;

    namespace Test
    {
        class Program
        {
            static void Main(string[] args)
            {
                Console.WriteLine("Work FFS!");
            }
        }
    }
    the project is set to console app / target .net client profile
