    Roaming Profiles - Desktops

We are now using Roaming Profiles across the entire company at all our sites, everything works perfect except!

I have 3-4 users that had Adobe Master Suite on there Desktop in shortcuts, it's on there machines they just cant access it. Before we went to roaming profiles the size of the local profiles for the users who had adobe was 40 Gig!!!!!! I dont really want that amount of traffic going up & down the network, so my thought was can I create a GPO just for the shortcuts to Adobe for that user group and will it work or will I have to do some moving around in AD just so it applies to those 3 or 4 users, I was thinking of making a GPO setting up the shortcuts and applying the security filtering to those users only.

    Anybody done this before ?

    Thanks In Advance

Hi we have shortcuts applied through GPo for certain standard programs like Sims Outlook etc not sure if this is what your looking at! i graeted a group in AD say Adobe put the users into it then created the shortcuts in GPO and applied it to that group this allows us to put differnet shortcuts to different group.

    if this helps

What if that user goes to a computer where they dont have Adobe.... do they still get the shortcuts for something thats not there or can I use Item Level Targetting ao that when they logon to a certain machine they get the shortcuts but any other machine they will just get the usual shortcuts ?
