I've searched everywhere I could swear that in GP there is an GPO that specifies that Network Browsing is disabled, all my users which arnt supposed to see any thing in the Network folder can see all the servers etc etc and im not happy about that - can anyone remember where the GPO is ?
I have "No Computers Near Me" Disabled, "Map Network Drive" Disabled. but users can still see servers etc in Network on My Computer.

- Rep Power
For our Windows 7 machines we ended up removing the network browser. It requires a restart to take effect.

Seem to remember Hiding run command also stops browsing of the network, servers etc. There does not seem to be a single GPO setting for stopping network browsing itself.
