    Temp Back up solution

Were going to be doing remote backups shortly to some website or other.

In the meantime i need to impliment a temport back up at my disposal is a external HDD. Is using the inbuilt backup on the server any use or is there a better way, posibally a script just to copy staff and student data accross?

    Cheers

ive done a really simple little script as a temp back solution using winrar's command prompt.

    rar a -hp"password" -m"3" -ag g:\ q:\public q:\staff q:\userdata

This puts a password on the file (-hp), sets a level of compression (-m) and names the file with a time and date stamp (-ag). Its simple but effective!
