    Folder Re-Direction not on DC

    Hi everyone,

Our servers are at capacity for hard drive space and at the moment we only have the start menu redirected for our office users, however we are looking into re-directing the my docs folders and profile to our San which has loads of space, we currently have Samba shares set up on the SAN - would this work or do the folders have to stay on the DC ?

So could I re-driect folders to the Samba share on the SAN ?

    Thanks

Absolutely - My Documents and profiles don't need to be on DCs at all, and it's probably better that they're not. Our mandatory profiles are on the DC, but it's very small.
