    dhcp can get things out of the already set address pool and the reservations will be happy and we can add some more?
    Yes, just make sure you put in exclusions for any you are setting as static IPs so that they don't get distributed and you don't get network conflicts (obviously, if ou make them "static" using reservations then you don't have to both putting in the exclusion).

    I understand. the address pool is connected to the scope properties. (it's not a separate thing). thanks.
