Question regarding 2008 and 2003

Have a 2008 member server running various internal websites. I've noticed in event viewer that there are errors regarding registry policies not being applied. Is this expected?

Are the errors in the sevrer 2003 or 2008 server? What are the errors please?

2008. They're something along the lines of failed to apply the registry policies from GP.

I'll grab the errors in full next week. In the meantime, if anyone knows what I am referring to, please do post up!

Security policies propogated with warning.

Looking in the log, it's about the registry.

- Error code 0x4b8 = "An extended error has occurred" - This error appeared on the GPO that renamed administrator ID or disabled "Guest" account. This issue appeared because %Windir%\security\Database\Secedit.sdb was corrupt. Check "esentutl /g %Windir%\security\Database\Secedit.sdb". It will say the database is either corrupt or out-of-date. Run "esentutl /p %Windir%\security\Database\Secedit.sdb" to repair or simply delete the %Windir%\security\Database\Secedit.sdb file. The database will be recreated on the reboot. Either choice will need a reboot

I've looked and the part that actually fails is configure log settings.
