Windows 7 - desktop redirection notebook pop up??

    Hello all,
I have desktop and start menu redirection onto the server (2008 R2) - seems to be ok on XP, but when I login to a Windows 7 PC I get notepad popping up with a desktop configuration file. If I exit out of this all seems to be ok - see screen shot.

Any reason why this is happening ?? Thanks

    John

at a guess you have a desktop.ini file in your redirected start menu in the startup folder probably hidden
