    WebMatrix

    Afternoon

Has anyone looked at this from Microsoft for use in an internal environment?

Microsoft Web Platform - Server, IIS, Internet Information Services

    and

    Microsoft WebMatrix

Looks fun for a club or even for use in lessons.

Just installed it as I wanted to run joomla 1.6 on IIS... very slick and shiny but like most things it seems to be rubbish underneath.

Actually scrap that.. its not too bad. Its a shame that it decided to put my new website in my documents instead of giving me an option and the lack of database export seems a bit stingy but its very easy to get it up and running... trying to get myphp running.. oh and installing php was just 2 clicks and it automatically downloaded it... very Ubuntu esqe.

One thing.. it did install it on a random port but it allows you to change this on the front page.. very nice
