Can anyone suggest a better solution than this....

At the moment i'm using this: Installing the VSS Hardware Provider for the Microsoft iSCSI Software Target on Windows Server 2008 - Jose Barreto's Blog - Site Home - TechNet Blogs
I have a batch file containing simply:
set context persistent
add volume H:
Then whenever i need to access a shadow copy i have to go to the file server command prompt, go to "diskshadow > list providers all" and expose the shadow ID as a drive.

Not the best workaround in the world (for those that don't already know, the combination of shadow copies for an iSCSI store on 2008R2 doesn't work the standard route) does anyone have a better way of doing it that doesn't require me to go into cmd and expose the specific shadow copy for the time and date i want?
