Pre-release version of SQL!
Back in April, I had SIMS and Sage support come in and load their respective software on 2 new bladeservers. None of us realised at the time (it came to light when a third party tech support team looked at some logs) that the SQL 2008 CD that I had was release candidate. I now need to upgrade both servers to released version of SQL. Anyone any tips on doing this? MS tech suggest complete uninstall and reinstall.

Reza Alirezaei’s Blog » Did you upgrade your SQL Server 2k8 RC0 to RTM? Don’t!
A direct upgrade is begging for trouble.
