19th June 2010, 08:32 PM #2 forgot to say my dc's are 32bit,
so i think i have to do the following
create a new dc with 2008 r2 installed
transfer the roles from the old 2008 server to the new server 2008r2,
rebuild the old server to server 2008r2
then move the roles back if i need to
sound about right?
