Import Users via Excel
A few years ago I had a vbs script that would pull users from an Excel sheet and put them in my Windows 2003 Active Directory. I've tried searching for something like this again, but haven't found anything and to be honest, I'm not sure if it would work in 2008 R2 anyhow. Would any of you have one to share by chance?

DSADD is whe windows scripting command and works fine. I've got it set up in an excel spreadsheet but it's designed for the specific export from SIMS. i.e. run a report copy the results into my spreadsheet, copy the cell's containg my formula's into a .bat file and run.

If you can be more specific.. like which ou, what user properties, mail account ? etc... i can adjust my script and post it here.

the spreadsheet i use has this as the output (i diddnt write it i have heavily edited it but its based on someone elses work so i dont feel i can publish)
dsadd user cn=8hpotte,ou=2008,ou="pupils",dc=school,dc=local -upn firstname.lastname@example.org -display "Harry potter" -pwd pass -hmdir \\server\8hpotte$ -hmdrv u: -profile \\server\profiles$\man\pupil.man -memberof cn=2008,ou=2008,ou="pupils",dc=school,dc=local -fn Harry -ln Potter -desc 2008 -loscr pupil.bat -mustchpwd no -canchpwd no
as input i just dump first name, lastname and year of entry (2008 in this case) into it and it works the rest out (server name/domzin name/profile path etc) are all on a page that i change depending on the school but are just plain text fields
