So I've finally got around to replacing the printers that are a rendered obsolete due to lack of driver support from 2K8 R2 and I'm wondering what to choose. I'm looking for 3 printers, paying about £350 (inc VAT) per printer.
I was looking at an HP Laserjet CP2025n but there appear to be no dedicated 64bit drivers and I'm not feeling 100% confident of the Universal Printer Driver. I think my alternatives are the Canon i-SENSYS LBP7200CDN or the Xerox Phaser 6280n. the xerox, despite being the ugliest, seems the best value for money and appears to currently have a cashback offer on.
I do have all HP printers at the moment so I'd rather have that but I'm tempted with the Xerox which has 64bit drivers. Anyone have any experience getting either to work on their servers?
