Wes
Setting the TS\RD Gateway is a relitivly simple process, just run throught the wizard and the set up the CAP's for thoses users who are allowed to access the Gatway and the RAP's for the resources which they are allowed to access.
When it comes to publishing the gateway through ISA, you need to use the Exchange 2007 publishing wizard and treat the TS\RD Gateway as if you were going to publish outlook anywhere.
There's are good artical on this the the Feb 2009 Technet mag which you can find here

I am guessing you have setup RDS and it works internally, you just want to publish it now? as your brother said you had setup RDS Friday and it was working with the Apps etc![]()

Yeah it seems to be fine just want to publish it now with ISA 2004

Right just wondered what I'd have to change on the TS gateway IIS7 to allow my wildcard to work? I'm getting an internal error 500 when trying to access the site which means the SSL cert is incorrect. My wildcard is *.school.county.sch.uk the outside url is remote.school.county.sch.uk the internal is tsgateway.schoolname.internal how do I attempt to fix this without having to either create a self signed cert or requesting a new cert?
Wes
you will need to create a new forward lookup zone on your internal DNS for school.county.sch.uk and place an A record in there for your tsgateway box. Since your using wildcard certs the name doesn't matter just the IP.

I would guess that Wes has the internal forward lookup zone, well at least i know when we was trying something else before i know we did that unless you have removed it wes in which case put it back
anyhow, with regards to the SSL Certificate your wildcard will work fine all you need to do is import it and then speifiy that certificate being used in RDS Gateway Manager.
It took me about 10 minutes to get this configured and working externally via SSL although i did not have ISA 2004 to compete with.
I have just tried giving you a ring mate but guess your busy, should be pretty straight forward though you aint doing anything out of the ordinary
