Mandatory profiles (Again!)
I'm in the process of upgrading our 3 Terminal Servers from 2008 32bit to 2008R2 64bit with added RAM. Due to time pressures when originally setting these up I never got around to sorting out profiles, so every user has a local profile on each TS server, the time has come to resolve this!
I've read the Wiki and trawled through the forums and I've got the profile setup and made it mandatory, however if I set it via GPO for all users who login to the terminal servers (the servers are in their own OU) it doesn't get applied, though gpresult shows the GPO applying to the test user I have. If I apply it via ADUC to my test user account under the terminal server profile section of their account it does apply, but on logoff a copy of the mandatory profile remains on the server despite me setting the delete local copies option in the GPO. As well as speeding up login the idea of using a mandatory profile centrally stored is to free up space on the terminal server!
I'm missing something blooming obvious here...
