Something ive tended to ignore but getting few alerts by staff on this mainly by the SLT now.
Some staff don't see folders they have created between computers namely due to offline files issues i guess. on one affected machine i tried sync all but kept getting error conflicts etc.
Managed to work around and get access to the folder after but wondering if i turn off offline files from FPO will that cause issues on files that have not been synchronized yet?
thanks in advance

We've had quite a few issues with offline files, and have disabled it fully now... We had to copy the files to a local drive before disabling, because - as you suggested - if changes haven't been synced yet, they'll be lost...
We're encouraging staff to use the remote access on laptops at home rather than relying on other methods...

When I worked in a school, i disabled this feature completely. It was more hassle then its worth!
I would copy the files somewhere safe, and then disable

I need to get staff into the habit of doing the remote logon thing... I hate offline files!

Give staff some notice to backup files, then do it?
