I'm finishing off a locked down 2008 R2 XenApp Desktop environment for my users but I can't seem to be able to remove or disable the two following items from the Start Menu.

1. Accessories folder (contains System Tools > Internet Explorer (No Add-ons))
2. Startup folder

I am using Start menu redirection and currently the best I can do is to hide the folders with a script at logon but this can only be processed after the first logon as this is when the folders are created in the users start menu (the Accessories folder is created from the ie4uinit.exe process).

Removing or hiding theses files from the default user or the C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs hasn't made any difference.

Has anyone managed to do this in either Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7.
