Shared network printer randomly printing nonsense

    Good morning,

Wasn't sure whether to put this under Hardware or here because the printer in question is shared from Server 2008 R2.

The printer is a Ricoh Aficio MP C305SPF. Shared from Windows Server 2008 R2 over the network. Clients are all Windows 7 32-bit.

I've only been able to replicate the problem a few times because it's very sporadic. At seemingly random times, print jobs will come out as pages and pages of letters/symbols and black space.
I've tried 5 drivers so far, only just installed the 5th so can't say yet whether it's successful or not.

This started to happen around the time the school had a powercut, though I can't be certain how close.

I'll try and provide you any information I've missed off, and thanks for any help.

    Jack

Are you using PostScript of PCL drivers? Also is this printing from Office, and in particular 2007?
