    RemoteApp and RD Gateway

    I've been trying for the last couple of hours to get remoteapp working externally through RD gateway. It works but i have to enter credentials twice.

    Our setup is as follows;

    All running on a single server (2008 R2)
    We will access it via remote.domain.org.uk and port 443 is open to our server.

    RD Session host server name is set to the internal IP

    Using manual settings for the RD Gateway;
    Server is set to external domain name (remote.domain.org.uk)
    Use the same credentials... is checked
    Bypass RD Gateway server for local addresses.

    I'm not sure where else to look?

    Ours needs the password to be entered twice too. If you find the answer I'd be interested. I think the cause is something to do with certificates, but I can't remember what.

    Also, I found recently that IE 10 and above are not supported, so we're looking at running it on server 2012 at some point as only that seems to support the newver browser...

    Well the IE10 one is new to me, think i might start to look at getting 2012 in instead.

    Do confirm yourself, but I tried with IE11 and it rejected me. Doing some research suggested that IE10 and above were affected.

    Yeah i get no icons with ie10, but when i put it into ie9 mode it works fine. Going forward i might as well put 2012 on as the browsers are only going to get newer.

    If you look over here: IE11 RD Web Access, Gmonks has a solution that may help with IE 10/11.

    As for the multiple login prompts, a valid SSL certificate needs to be specified in the RD Gateway Manager's config and RD Session Host Config

    No, self-signed certificates will still prompt multiple times for credentials.

    This is the error i get;

    Whats even worse is that 2012 is a nightmare to navigate.
