Small business server 2012 smart phone security

    Hey guys,
Didn't know where to post this, so I put it here.
It's with regards to small business server 2012, a user has informed me that they are forced to have a phone lock on there phone now, since upgrading to sbs.
The user has sensitive emails via exchange, but is adamant that they do not want a phone lock on there phone.
Have any of you guys come across this?
Can it be disable per user? Or does it have to be disable for everyone.
This may be an exchange issue rather than sbs......
    Thank you.

It is an exchange issue, its there for security of emails on your device, I do believe if you do not accept it, you cannot sync your device with Exchange. You may be able to turn off this feature, a quick Google should help

EDIT: See the Security section of Devices: http://justaucguy.wordpress.com/2012...ration-part-8/

Thanks for the response, very informative article.
I will give it a read and set some rules etc
I hope it works.... Otherwise exchange will have to be downgraded.

You would downgrade an entire product because someone who has sensitive emails does not want their phone locked? I would personally say that not having it locked with sensitive emails is a accident waiting to happen
