Hi
Just playing with rdweb in a test setup but get an error trying to connect to remote desktop.
info,
2008r2 server
remote desktop = windows 7 64bit(vm)
I have used a self signed cert and imported it on to client machine.
I can connect to remote desktop from internal network using rdweb (https://server/rdweb) but get the following error from external network, although I can view the rdweb site it just borks when connecting to the remote desktop.
:ERROR
Remote Desktop can't find the computer name . This might mean that name does not belong to the specified network. Verify the computer name and domain that you are trying to connect to.

Thought it might be self cert causing the issue, although MS say this works for testing so decided to look at CA cert services role but this has just opened up more potential dead ends.
Don't suppose anyone has a step by step for using certificate server or self cert and setting up remote desktop services in simple steps.
