Backup to DPM 2012 Long Term

    Hi all,

Anyone know if there's any way to get Data Protection Manager 2012 to backup data over a longer period than, say, 60 days.

We use it for our normal daily backups and it works great but seems to be restricted to a max of 64 events according to DPM... any ideas how to get more?

Also I'm using iSCSI to backup to disk - got a 12TB NAS connected up.

    Cheers

Afaik you need a tape library to use the long term retention. You could use a virtual tape library. Problem is it is completely separate to the short term disks, therefore you'll need another nas.
