    Hi, Anybody tried the following for access to remote files??

    RM Portico Software & Site Licence (CC4)

    Would it work for NOT Rm setups..
    i.e Windows 2008 vanilla?

    I was at an RM Tech seminar the other day and I thought the presenter said that it would.

    Worth giving them a call to be sure though.

    Several people in the audience did say how good it was though - not sure what networks they had though.

    The find and more importantly free Home Access Plus+ (Home Access Plus+ - Home) from @nickbro does pretty much the same thing

    I have it running at my site, its very easy for users, but not sure about how\if it works on vanilla networks

    Speak to RM sales, although the instructions are geared towards those with CC4 networks i cant see any reason why it wouldnt work on a vanilla server.
