    Ping

    strange on this im guessing it might have something to do with uac but i could be wrong why is it that when i want to ping a server i have to run as administrator when opening cmd other wise i get a ping transmit faliure

    Ping uses raw sockets to send the ICMP messages. Raw sockets are restricted to admin users. This restriction can be easily circumvented with WinPcap.
