Group Policy to stop users from seeing local desktop
I've had a quick google, but can't find a definitive answer!
I have had complaints from one of my schools that the desktop isn't the same on every machine, so I have started redirecting desktops.
When I log on as a pupil I am getting the redirected desktop AND the local desktop, so it is rather cluttered!
How do I stop the users from seeing local "Public User" desktop via GPO?
It's a primary school so they need desktop icons.
Server is 2008 R2 clients are W7. I want to avoid logging on to every machine and deleting the contents of the Public Desktop folder!!
Thanks in advance!

We use a GPO to wipe the public desktop folder, thought there is relatively little inside ours as we wipe it before we create the image we deploy.

originally I had the icons on public desktop on the image and everything was fine. It's just this one teacher who has the MAJOR hump about it.
