Office 2010 CC3 ADM
Hi guys we are running office 2010 on CC3 Workstations with windows 2003 servers
We have the ADM that comes from RM to allow basic office 2010 setting to be changed but we would like to change others mainly the Autosave feature etc.
We have download the adm file from MS and tried adding to the type manager but theydo not appear in managment console.
Has anyone got all the adm fiel working on CC3 for office 2010 if so how or if you know how i should do it then please help we have never done importing adm file before for cc3 but the RM ADM office 2010 is a bit thin on the ground.

In the RMMC, go into the User Types node.
Click on the "Type Options" icon that is next to the disk icon
See if your ADM files for Office 2010 are showing in the list, and tick the box to apply them
You may find that once you add them in, the RMMC will throw a fit when you try and re-edit a template. We got round this by doing all changes via the GPO management tool instead of the RMMC.
we abandoned the rmmc and just edited the oct and subsequently the gpo, seems to work pretty well!
Anyone give instructions we nervous about editing the gpo directly any help advice files etc
If your nervous, the first thing to do it make a copy of the Usertype so you can edit it without it affecting anyone else. Apply that usertype to a test user.
Download the GPMC (Download: Group Policy Management Console with Service Pack 1 - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details) for the server if your RM Server does not already have it installed (it wasn't by default)
You can then browse though the AD structure to find your GPO, then edit it to your hearts content.
