Drive is not accessible. Access is denied.
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum but i've been reccomended the site several times by a few people now. After spending much of the morning trying to sort this out and searching here and other forums for suggestions i've decided its time to give up and beg for help :o
I have a Windows 2003 server with about 100 or so pupils and about 20 staff profiles.
The user folders are set up as follows, D:\UserGroups\PupilWork\09\username\
All of the 'username' folders are shared (eg. \\server\username$) which is working fine, however I need to be able to share the 'PupilWork' folder aswell, so I've mapped it to drive V:, The staff accounts (all in an OU called staff) can access it no problem but when I try to access it with a pupils account (all in an OU called Pupils) It comes up "V:\ is not accessible. Access is denied"
The folder permissions for usergroups, PupilWork, 09 and username currently state that everyone has full control.
Would anybody have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Many Thanks and sorry if its not worded that clearly.
Ju :)
