Deleted the All Users folder by mistake...
In the process of having a tidy up of our staff terminal server (a server which a selection of our teachers can remote desktop to from home in order to access work), Iíve deleted the All Users folder by mistake.
Now, when anyone logs on to the server, they donít get anything in their start menu, and there is an error saying that their profile cannot be loaded...and that a temp profile will be loaded in its place.
So, question is...how do I fix this? So far Iíve tried copying the All Users folder form another server...and manually creating an All Users folder and its sub folders (Desktop, Start Menu etc)
Whenever a user logs on with one of these manually created folders...it seems that the terminal server just ignores their presence...and makes another folder called All Users."domain name".
To be honest....I did plan on formatting this server and totally re-doing it (because staff have filled it with un-needed software)...so if it can't be sorted easily...Iíll just do that.
Thanks to anyone who can help me.
(its a 2003 Member Server by the way)
