Home Folder Migration to New HDD
Right, my predecessor thought it wise to house the user home directorys on the system drive. Im about to migrate them to a new larger HDD and wondered if its as simple as I think it is.
Steps should be...
1. Make sure all users are off and open connections to shares/folders killed.
2. Copy the data over to the new dive maintaining the data structure.
3. Remove the old share
4. Recreate new share using the same share name
5. Relax because its all worked ok :p
Is there anything im missing?
