File > New... menu is windows explorer
Is there a way to use group policy to remove all the items from the File > New... menu in windows explorer (and therefore also the context menu) except for New Folder?
It's causing problems when students can create shortcuts to sensitive areas (such as C:\WINDOWS) and generally cause havoc.
Actually, how does the 'Restrict access to system drives' option in group policy work? Does it cause any problems with regards to applications/processes etc. being able to access files on the drive?
