I managed to un-share our Staff Common this morning...so now unfortuantely all the permissions are buggered.
Staff were able to add/remove/edit from their Sub folders but not the the Root folder of Staff Common (as i want it kept tidy).
Staff can currently access it, but cant add to subfolders. I as an admin on my machine cant either which is puzzling me more!!
My permission edits dont seem to be taking effect :(
HELP!
When you recreated the share did you give staff, admins etc atleast Modify?
Sounds silly, but check the share permissions are set to everyone read/write. (not security permission)

If you havent already, use NTFS permissions to lock down the root folder i.e. deny write for 'This folder only' on the root and grant secure down the subfolders as required.
