print server thinks it's printed but nothing comes out
I've had this problem before but for the life of me I cant remember what the problem was. Basically I've changed the drivers on a printer which wasn't liked and caused users an error when trying to print. I've changed the driver back and there is still a problem but this time it looks like it has been sent, there is no error message and it even logs as being sent through our print management software. However nothing prints on the actual printer itself. Any ideas what i've done to cause the problem, and even better to point me in the right direction to fix it?
I've powered the printer off and cleared the print queue from it but still no joy.

OK, ignore the last request. It seems like even though I thought I rolled it back to the previous driver it didn't work. I changed it to a different one and now it does.

The other possibility (in the same situation) is the job gets deleted if you've reach your quota limits. A good example is on some Canon photocopiers which don't tell the end user their job has been deleted.
