Users' deleted items reappear - Offline problem?
Hi, at our school we have Server 2003 and all clients are XP. Most users are laptop users and we use roaming profiles with offline files and folders. The users are set up with their My Documents folder redirected to a home directory on the server.
Numerous staff have multitudes of items on their desktops. When the users delete the items they reappear again on their desktop. One answer would be to delete the items on the server as well as the local machine's desktop so they do not re-sync at log-out. I haven't done this yet as I haven't found a 'neat' way of doing it. Can I delete both local and server caches from the client-side? What else could cause this behaviour? Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.
