Hi Guys,
I've tried (for first time) to extend our dynamic disk structure to allow more space in the teachers personal areas.
However.....
In the top list within disk management, I have now increased the size, but in the disk layout I seem to have 3 H: drives and cannot get them to look "merged" into one block.
Can someone tell me what I have done wrong or do I need to restart the server for the change to take place?
Thanks !

That's normal.
The additional space will always appear on the right instead of being merged back into the original H: volume shown in the middle of your screenshot.

11th January 2012, 06:31 PM #5 Arthur are you sure, our LEA 3rd line usually have done it in the past (on older servers), but I can never recall seeing multiple drive segments lol - panic over I take it....

I've extended partitions on 2003 servers several times and it is normal as Arthur has said, it works fine just looks a bit messy!

Football - what is that? lol
It means I like real music by some very talented people that are brilliant live not engineered pap
News | The Toy Hearts
They are currently recording their 4th album and have opened for the likes of Imelda May and Ricky Skaggs. The only problem is they are starting to get noticed now (radio interviews, articles in the national press etc) so it's soon going to be impossible to see them in small local venues like I've enjoyed for many years. They have quite an extensive tour including headlining at the Birmingham Glee Club in April any one that enjoys real / live music should pop along to one of their gigs.

12th January 2012, 11:34 AM #9 lol - never heard of them, but have always favoured engineered pap over live bands, mind you only engineered pap from the likes of Kraftwerk, Yellow Magic Orchestra and Jean Michele Jarre through in all genres of electronica upto 1992. But they two band members are easy on the eye (twirls moustache!)

Easy Tiger – lol
Careful I’ve seen photos of Hannah when she has gone clay pigeon shooting the gun was as big as she was – lol
Oh and did I forget to say their dad is also in the band so watch it – lol
Seriously though because they are local I’ve been going to their gigs for years and I’ve got to know them a bit, they are nice girls and are very passionate about the band / the music they produce.

I merely jested lol - however its refreshing to hear that bands are doing it for themselves and not allowing on the megabucks of Cowell et al to control their lives!
