When users open outlook 2010 internally we get an error saying "The Security Certificate was issued by a company that you have not chosen to trust"
The error message started to appear a few days back now - Exchange was happily working until then.
From my understanding.. internally ,you use a self signed cert that you generate from the exchange console.. Which I have done and replaced the exisiting one enabling the correct services using the following commands:
Enable-ExchangeCertificate -Thumprint xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -Services "IIS, POP, IMAP, SMTP"
I will attach the error message to this post & if anyone can shed any light i would be really greatfull.
I managed to solve it..
I created a CSR file on our exch box then used our internal CA to process the certificate.
After an import and enabling reliavent services all appears fine.
