Server has an identity crisis...
Here's an interesting one.
Just logged into my file server, and have discovered that the file associations are completely messed up.
Seems to think that everything is associated with Paint.
Can't open a command window, can open regedit, can't open internet explorer:
"Paint cannot read this file. This is not a valid bitmap file or its format is not currently supported"

sounds like a virus.. Give it a scan maybe ?

Yeah defo sounds like a virus - crack out Malwarebytes.

Yep, looks like it. Must have been one of the files I was trying to delete... kids are trying to hide files by renaming them...
Turns out that it was just my profile on the server, deleted it, and logged in again, problem solved after minor heart attack!
